Family filter Yandex failed

a Week ago, for fun, I decided with a colleague to torture the "family filter" Yandex for reliability and morality... And what he found — to put it mildly, we were very surprised!

Family search has failed to Yandex.Pictures.
In the "Family search" — with the right set of words "non-family" theme — search engine images is working fine and refuses to give obscene images. But it is necessary to make a typo in a set of "taboo vocabulary" – as caring, the search engine automatically corrects the error and produces thousands of images (although non-content) on the amended request!

Deciding to test a little deeper, we came to the following conclusions:
1. Some typos in obscene and other "unacceptable" words corrected automatically, and the search engine provides images for search terms.
2. The bug works only on typographical errors, and does not apply to the typical ignorant mistakes in the writing.
3. Most of the typos (- items not admitted in the "Family search" words) not automatically corrected on the mats, and at a frequency regular words (e.g., "train"). However, there are variants of spelling – all of which has output a non-family the result.

Not to be unfounded and in vain in Yandex barrel roll, here is a few screenshots.

About given here the example again — the point is not whether children know the words (this is a separate conversation), and that the Yandex with the unmistakable set of such words considers childish, and nothing shows. But thanks to the bug — shows, and not the drawings from the anatomy textbook (check for yourself). Even the word "vagina" (and even pictures on it) is, of course, a harmless childish pranks in comparison with what issues a Family search in other cases, in other words. Feel can here is my colleague — habré did not upload this beauty for moral and aesthetic reasons.

PS. At the time of publication of this article Yandex already fixed it (all the same company very quickly and works great, everyone would have) and we can only guess — whether it was an old joint or it was a temporary bug that we stumbled.
